Built in 2001, the cottage is modern and the appointments include a private HotTub, Tivo and highspeed internet access. The main living floors are tiled and the 3 1/2 baths contain marble showers and vanities (plus a jacuzzi tub in one Master bath.) The cottage borders the 12,000 sq ft pool and is only a short walk from the beach. In the summer our subdivision even provides a shuttle (really a 8 person golf cart) to the beach. The first floor contains a bedroom, a bunkroom, the garage, a full bath and a laundry area with washer and dryer. Also on the first floor is a covered screened breezeway containing an outdoor bar and the Private Hot Tub. The second floor contains the kitchen, the den and the dining room plus a balcony overlooking the pool and amphitheater. The kitchen is finished with tile countertops, smooth surface range, dishwasher, microwave and a side-by-side refrigerator with filtered water & ice. We really like to cook, so we have outfitted the kitchen with all of the appliances and accessories you need to prepare a great meal (or a great drink!) We even have a Gas Grill on the patio. In the den is a sofa bed plus the Entertainment Center, which contains a Stereo Color TV, Tivo, DVD player, Stereo VCR, Receiver and a Surround Sound System. The third floor contains two bedrooms suites. The bedrooms each have a private bath and one also has a private balcony overlooking the green space with a view of the pool and the Gulf. Each bedroom contains a Color TV, VCR and CD player as well as a telephone and alarm clock (although these don't see much use!) Here is the view from the Master Bedroom balcony. Seacrest Beach is located on Scenic 30-A, next to Rosemary Beach and a short drive to Seagrove, Seaside, Grayton Beach and all of the other beaches of South Walton County. Need to stay in touch while you're at the beach? You can surf the web and keep up with your email at our place. We've equipped the cottage with a cable modem, a router/firewall and wifi. Bring your 802.11(a,b or g) ready notebook and stay connected! If you don't want to bring any hardware you can still surf the web with our prismiq media center. It has a web browser and an instant messenger client.
